Azacca "Az" Dixon, was a member of Giles's P.R.O.B.E. team.

Az had a special sensitivity to "things being wrong" with the world or with Time, (HOMEVID: Daylight Savings) and a psychic ability to feel "vibes" from people and places. For example, he could feel another human being's guilt, often allowing him to see through lies, although he could not actually read other people's minds. (PROSE: Out of the Box)

Biography

Before joining P.R.O.B.E., Az woked at Hanson Solicitors as an assistant operations manager. (PROSE: Preternatural Days)

In November 2019, Az went along with the rest of the team when they went to investigate Bildbriain Dairies, quickly getting a bad feeling from the place. After the owner revealed himself to be an alien parasitic entity called the Greth, it briefly debated whether to leave its current host to absorb Az's body instead, hoping to acquire its psychic powers for itself, but ultimately decided against it, finding Maxie Masters more enticing. As part of her gambit to destroy the Greth, Maxie had to reveal her nature as a Gendar to it, for which reason she got the Greth to painlessly render the rest of the team unconscious, preserving the continued secrecy around her true origins. (PROSE: Out of the Box)

In March 2021, when Maxie Masters thought she detected traces of Faction Paradox activities in London, Giles proposed to send Az into the field to check whether there was anything to it, under the assumption that Az would be able to feel any temporal disturbance — although he was sceptical. Ultimately, this was rendered moot as the Faction rewrote Time to prevent themselves from ever having been detected by Maxie; thus, Az did not get to complete this mission. (HOMEVID: Daylight Savings)

On 4 April, after Giles walked into HQ to find Maxie unconscious on the floor, he immediately called the rest of the team in. He sent Tasha and Az to search Maxie's office for any clue as to what had happened to her, but they didn't find anything useful. Later, after Maxie became possessed by the Cyberon intelligence, Tasha and the rest of the team chased her to a cavernous area beneath Clapham Junction, where they found a crashed Cyberon pod. After the Cyberon fluid released Maxie so it could inhabit and revive the pilot, the resurrected Cyberon attempted to choke out Tasha and Az, but Giles and Maxie managed to activate the ship's self-destruct, distracting and ultimately destroying the Cyberon while the P.R.O.B.E. members made their escape.
