Ben McGill

Ben McGill was a young boy of the Dustville colony at the final frontier (aka Arkansas XVl Colony Base One). When the Tenth Doctor arrived at high noon and was in danger from the bandits, he defies the other settlers to warn the Doctor to hide. It is Ben that the Doctor stays with overnight before tracking the bandits into the Wastes the next day. It is Ben that the Doctor allows to use the sonic screwdriver with the TARDIS to create a localised atmospheric excitation. The rain that followed dissolved the bandits and Ben was instrumental in collecting up the bandit ‘puddles’ into buckets for relocation.
