Luna Piena was an Italian restaurant located in a square in Brentford, London, by a canal that also passed through Chiswick. In 2009, after meeting the Carnes brothers, the Tenth Doctor decided to go to Luna Piena to pass the time before he had arranged to meet up with Donna Noble. However, despite his interest in a good Italian meal, the Doctor's conversation with Lukas and Joe, during which Joe had called him "Doctor" despite a lack of introduction, led him to decide against visiting the restaurant in favour of solving the mystery.
