Vladimir Lenin

Vladimir Ilyich Lenin was a Bolshevik revolutionary and a central figure in communism.

Biography

The Eighth Doctor claimed to have played him at tiddlywinks whilst sharing an overnight train journey from Switzerland to Petrograd. (AUDIO: Storm Warning)

Rose Tyler surmised from a group of Russians in London in 1924 that they wanted to "kick out Lenin and co. and reclaim their lost lands". (PROSE: The Clockwise Man)

While the Fifth Doctor said Lenin was a disagreeable man with terrible breath, (AUDIO: Singularity) the Eighth Doctor considered him to have a "remarkable mind". Lenin wore mauve pyjamas, in contrast to the saying "redder than Lenin's pyjamas".
