King of Beasts

The King of Beasts was the leader of the Babewyns. Seen as wearing a crown of thorns and human teeth and wielding a sharpened femur by a Cardinal who accidentally entered into the Kingdom of Beasts, the King of Beasts can be seen as a twisted mirror of King George III and the figurehead of a hierarchical structure based on the prominence of the alpha male, which enforced conformity and repressed attempts at progress. The King of Beasts worshipped the Great Black Eye.

After the destruction of Gallifrey, the King of Beasts escaped the Kingdom of Beasts to Earth. The Eighth Doctor killed the King of Beasts with his sonic screwdriver to close off the Kingdom of Beasts to other places in the universe. (PROSE: The Adventuress of Henrietta Street)
