Fleetwood Mac was a music group known for their longevity. When the Tenth Doctor revealed that Pakafroon Wabster had been going for three hundred years, Rose Tyler exclaimed "Oh God, it's Fleetwood Mac!" (COMIC: Interstellar Overdrive ^[+]Loading...["Interstellar Overdrive (comic story)"])

Behind the scenes

In episode two of Spearhead from Space, the first fifteen seconds of the Fleetwood Mac song "Oh Well" was played. It was removed from the 2001 DVD release due to music licensing issues.
