DWU-ness[[edit source]]

While I agree that most of this book isn't intended to be in-universe , some of the recipes have embedded pieces of DWU microfiction. Through a quick skim I spotted:

  • Johnny Byrne's Kipper of Traken
  • David Banks's Cyberleader Special for Iron Replenishment (High in Iron Content)
  • Terry Molloy's Davros Dalek Dip
  • Matt Irvine's Pirate Paella
  • Terrance Dicks's Shobogan Stew
  • Johnny Byrne's Spiced Rib of Baanjxx
  • Dick Mills's Krotonised Khoncie
  • Barry Letts's ?
  • Terry Molloy's Davros's Extermination Pudding
  • Ian Marter's Nautical Pudding

Perhaps somewhat more tenuous are Philip Latham's Borusa Peppers, which involves getting a Cyberman to help in its preparation and says in the author's notes that the recipe is simply known as "Stuffed Peppers" on Earth, and Johnny Byrne's Melkur Surprise, which merely says that it's Nyssa's favourite pudding.

I think at least all of those recipes in the bulleted list satisfy the four little rules at T:VALID, and that they (and perhaps even the other recipes as invalid sources) could be covered on the wiki as (feature)s. Look-a-troopa 13:31, 16 May 2024 (UTC)
