Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]
Ahmed warned Scarman not to open Sutekh's tomb, but his warning went unheeded. (TV: Pyramids of Mars [+]Loading...["Pyramids of Mars (TV story)"]) After Ahmed saw the Eye of Horus, he and the Egyptian labourers fled the tomb.
Afterwards, Ahmed and the labourers were captured by Ibrahim Namin's priests of the Cult of the Black Pyramid, who killed them and buried their bodies in the desert. (PROSE: Doctor Who and the Pyramids of Mars [+]Loading...["Doctor Who and the Pyramids of Mars (novelisation)"])
Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Ahmed is one of two named characters in Pyramids of Mars who is not given a full name in either the televised version or Terrance Dicks's novelisation. The other is Doctor Warlock.
- Ahmed's death is mentioned only in the novelisation and is never confirmed on-screen — therefore, unlike Horror of Fang Rock, Pyramids of Mars cannot count as a story where all the characters, aside from the Doctor and his companion, die.
