Ruby Road was a road in Manchester, where a church was located.

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

On Christmas Eve 2004, a baby girl was abandoned on the doorstep of the church on Ruby Road (TV: The Church on Ruby Road [+]Loading...["The Church on Ruby Road (TV story)"]) by her mother, (PROSE: The Church on Ruby Road [+]Loading...["The Church on Ruby Road (novelisation)"]) Louise Miller, who had deliberately chosen the location in the hopes her baby would be named "Ruby". (TV: Empire of Death [+]Loading...["Empire of Death (TV story)"]) The baby had to be saved from Goblins by the Fifteenth Doctor and returned to the church so she could be found and adopted by Carla Sunday. (TV: The Church on Ruby Road [+]Loading...["The Church on Ruby Road (TV story)"]) The baby was indeed named "Ruby" after the road by the social workers handling her case.
