History[[edit] | [edit source]]

Following the passing of Geoff Noble sometime before the Judoon stole the Royal Hope Hospital and transported it to the Moon, the Nobles moved house. (PROSE: Doctor Who: The Encyclopedia [+]Loading...{"page":"250","1":"Doctor Who: The Encyclopedia (reference book)"})

After the Tenth Doctor gave Wilf and Sylvia a Celebration Lottery ticket to give to Donna during her wedding to Shaun Temple, (TV: The End of Time (part two) [+]Loading...{"part":"Two","1":"The End of Time (TV story)"}) she won £166,000,000, which she used to purchase a new home, while Wilf went to live in sheltered accommodation mostly paid for by UNIT. Donna gave away the rest of the money to charity. (TV: The Star Beast [+]Loading...["The Star Beast (TV story)"])

Parallel World[[edit] | [edit source]]

In the altered version of the world caused by the Time Beetle's interference, Donna returned home after being let off from Jival Chowdry's photocopying business Capital Copies Ltd, a "few months" after Christmas 2007.[nb 1] There, Donna and Wilf watched the BBC News 24 broadcast about the abduction of the Royal Hope Hospital while Sylvia rummaged through the cardboard box filled with objects Donna took from her job; Donna told Sylvia that she had expected her to have "hit the roof" with the news, but Sylvia confessed she was tired after Donna's father's death and that had given up on her. Donna then left to get chips for tea.

Taking heed of a universe-hopping Rose Tyler's advice to not remain in London for the following Christmas, Donna used the winning raffle ticket she had taken from Capital Copies Ltd to stay at Firbourne House, thus avoiding London's obliteration when the replica of the Titanic crashed into Buckingham Palace without the Doctor to stop it. Afterwards, the Nobles were forced to move to Leeds. (TV: Turn Left [+]Loading...["Turn Left (TV story)"])

Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]

  1. No specific date is given for the date of Smith and Jones [+]Loading...["Smith and Jones (TV story)"] but it has to take place after Geoff Noble's death, given he plays no role in Turn Left [+]Loading...["Turn Left (TV story)"]'s plot; The Secret Lives of Monsters [+]Loading...{"chaptname":"The Judoon","page":"120","chaptnum":"5","1":"The Secret Lives of Monsters (short story)"} gives the date 4 June 2008, which aligns with the novel Beautiful Chaos [+]Loading...["Beautiful Chaos (novel)"] dating Geoff's death to 15 May, however, the Redacted audio drama Recruits [+]Loading...["Recruits (audio story)"] dates the events of Smith and Jones to March 2008, greatly tightening the order of events and contradicting the two aforementioned sources.
