Robert Henrysoun was a Scottish writer responsible for Testament of Cresseid.
The Prologue in a variant version of William Shakespeare's play Troilus and Cressida, who was based upon the First Doctor, claimed to have met him. He said he questioned Henrysoun as to why the poor girl had to die in such a nasty way, opining that the scars of leprosy which were visited upon Cresseid as punishment were for faults he believed were not her own.
