Template Expansion
Couldn't we include the reason in the template. I could do this as it is actually quite simple and most wikis use the same system. It will also mean that the talk page won't have to be created to show a reason. I could put something like {{#if:{{{1|}}}|'''Reason given is:'''|}} {{{1|}}} and this will allow a reason to be put in. ☆The Solar Dragon (Talk - Contribs.)☆ 12:50, May 31, 2010 (UTC)
- It should be put on the template. We do this on Heroes Wiki so that there is no need to create a new heading on the discussion page which would take longer to both write and to access to see reasons for deleting. It will also help with the images. I put some images up for deletion, some are unused, others are duplicates, and I should be able to see from the delete tag exactly why they are up for deletion. Though I would put it as "This page should be deleted because" and then the explanation, instead of putting "Reason given is:". But yes.
