The Doctor mentioned that Amy was living in a big empty house. Could her family have been erased by the cracks? Amy mentioned that she "never had a mom or dad, only an aunt". We have never seen her aunt. Can her aunt be some alien pretending to be her aunt? I always thought there was something weird about that big house and just Amy and her aunt (that we've never seen) living there. And that shadow running the the window when Amelia is outside waiting for the TARDIS to return could be someone else other than the Doctor or Prisoner Zero as most people have thought so far. It could even be her aunt... So what does everyone else think? V00D00M0NKY 05:36, June 20, 2010 (UTC)
Might the "big empty house" comment refer to the fact that the house has two storeys (when looking outside) but three floors? When Doctor and Amelia are upstairs outside Amelia's room, there is another set of stairs leading upwards... 155.245.50.240 11:07, June 21, 2010 (UTC)JonB
Good grief, you're right. I just checked for the extra staircase. That's brilliant!!! Bluebox444 12:19, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
Aren't her aunt and mum scheduled to be in The Big Bang anyway? With little Amy? I have a feeling, as Amy has just died, that she'll be in some kind of coma thing, similar to Silence in the Library and Forest of the Dead. Instead of returning straight to the action, we see a kind of dream sequence from Amy's perspective, at home in her big empty house, with her Mum/Auntie, at the start of the next episode. Just an idea, knowing my luck, it's completely wrong but hey-ho...does the big empty house have anything to do with "remember what I told you when you when you were 7", which for the life of me, I still haven't figured out...87.112.243.115 08:38, June 20, 2010 (UTC)
He could just be talking about "Do everything I tell you, and don't ask stupid questions.", from about 5mins 40seconds into The Eleventh Hour. But, more importantly, when she asks what he told her, he says "No, that's not important.". Suggesting that he's more concerned with her remembering him, and possibly how long she's known him, rather than the specifics of what he said. 115.69.5.221 13:53, June 20, 2010 (UTC)
"A forest, in a bottle, on a spaceship in a maze. Have I impressed you yet Amy pond?"
They wouldn't have mentioned the house if it wasn't important, and Amy's imagination does seem to figure big in this series, and I aggree that her subcontiousness will reveal all.
In TEH, Amelia gives the doctor an apple and tells him her mum puts faces on them..but just before doing this, didn't she say she doesnt have a mum?
- She knew her parents but they died (disappeared?) before meeting the Doctor. So her mum USED to put the faces on apples. - I. Am. Excalibur-117-(talk • contribs) 07:33, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
- I was wondering about that too. The apple she gave the Doctor looked fresh. The 'face' hadn't browned at all. 115.69.5.221 07:47, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
- Wasn't that just an apple Amy made to show the Doctor? He did ask for one. He then uses it to prove that he was a time traveller by showing it again twelve years (or five minutes) later where it was unaltered. Doesn't mean that her parents were real though.
- In the very first shot of the Big Empty House (BEH) the swing is swinging but the wind isn't blowing. As if somebody just got off it before we arrived. Amy was gettig ready for bed so it wasn't her. Prisoner zero doesn't seem to be the type. So was the swinging swing intentional? Jack Chilli.
