Synopsis[[edit] | [edit source]]

The TARDIS has crashed on a derelict spaceship full of Weeping Angels: terrifying killers that can be stopped only by staring at them. But if you dare to stop looking — if you even blink — they'll send you out of time. Will the Doctor and companions be able to get all the pieces to repair the TARDIS in time? Or will the Weeping Angels succeed when so many adversaries have failed before? Doctor Who: Don't Blink is a challenging tactical board game in which up to four players control the Eleventh Doctor and his companions Amy, Rory and Clara, with them attempting to collect four parts to repair the TARDIS and escape. One player takes on the role of the terrifying Weeping Angels and attempts to outmaneuver and capture them!

Gameplay[[edit] | [edit source]]

In Don’t Blink you need to decide which team you want to be on: the Weeping Angels (one player) or the Heroes (up to four players). The Heroes each has their own unique power. The game map is modular and creates a 3×3 grid with almost labyrinthian passages. Everyone chooses where they will start on the board before gameplay begins.

Choose Angels Phase[[edit] | [edit source]]

The Angel player selects which of their Weeping Angels standees is “real”, and they pick up all of the Angel Identification Cards, selecting up to 4 of them.

Hero Move Phase[[edit] | [edit source]]

Each of the Heroes takes a turn which includes moving up to 6 spaces, choosing which direction to face, picking up repair parts, and even dragging Angel standees with them.

Hero Card Phase[[edit] | [edit source]]

It is required for Heroes to assign a Blink? card to themselves for the Angel Phase.

Angel Phase[[edit] | [edit source]]

The Weeping Angels are activated and can move up to 9 spaces, catch the attention of a Hero, or capture a Hero. Blink? cards are only checked when a Weeping Angel is entering the line of sight of a Hero.

Clean Up Phase[[edit] | [edit source]]

Any revealed Don’t Blink cards are discarded, making it more common to blink and less common to not blink.
