Hauptmann Jonas Beyer was a German soldier and a UNIT contact. By the 1980s, he was the father of two sons.
Beyer fought against Lava Spiders in Baden-Württemberg and supplied Elizabeth Klein with a tissue sample for her to analyse. On the way to a laboratory for Klein to do so, the car carrying Beyer, Klein, Pete Wilson and Maynard was attacked by a Lava Spider and crashed. Beyer died in the crash.
