Nazi salute

In Nazi Germany, the Nazi salute or Hitler salute was a salute performed by raising one's hand and exclaiming "Heil Hitler!", "Sieg Heil!", (PROSE: Timewyrm: Exodus [+]Loading...["Timewyrm: Exodus (novel)"]) or simply "Heil!". In 1938, Rory Williams performed the salute to distract a Nazi guard, who returned the salute before Rory punched him in the face, allowing himself and Amy Pond to flee. Unbeknownst to them, this guard was actually the Teselecta in disguise. (TV: Let's Kill Hitler [+]Loading...["Let's Kill Hitler (TV story)"])

Ace had a dream in which she was chased by a "huge black swastika-wearing Dalek" which thrust its sucker arm stiffly upwards, chanting "Heil Doktor! Heil Doktor!" in a harsh metallic voice. (PROSE: Timewyrm: Exodus [+]Loading...["Timewyrm: Exodus (novel)"])

Tegan Jovanka once performed the salute as a means of mocking Geoff Paynter. (PROSE: The King of Terror [+]Loading...["The King of Terror (novel)"])
