Aristide Twain is a French writer, editor and illustrator for multiple Doctor Who spin-off series for Arcbeatle Press and BBV Productions, including Faction Paradox and P.R.O.B.E., as well as contributing to several standalone anthologies and novels.

Twain is also the co-creator of The Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids; he wrote and illustrated the short story Resurrection of the Author [+]Loading...["Resurrection of the Author (short story)"] and edited Auteur's Abecedarium [+]Loading...["Auteur's Abecedarium (short story)"], both of which were crossovers with the Doctor Who universe.

In particular, Twain also wrote the Faction Paradox audio drama Sabbath and the King [+]Loading...["Sabbath and the King (audio story)"] in addition to penning and directing a concurrently-released prequel webcast [+]Loading...{"noital":"1","1":"Overture to 'Sabbath and the King' (webcast)","2":"prequel webcast"}.

Twain was credited with the initial concept for the P.R.O.B.E. webcast Shadows of Doubt [+]Loading...["Shadows of Doubt (webcast)"] and gave permission for the Retconning Crocodiles to be mentioned in the Cyberon story A Worthy Successor [+]Loading...["A Worthy Successor (short story)"].

For the 2023 reboot of the Faction Paradox website, he provided additional entries for The Spiral Politic Database.

He also wrote the short story A Better World and The Last Secret of the Emperor, which were released as part of The Fan Gallery onto the official Doctor Who: Lockdown! website in 2020, and provided an illustration for the charity anthology Twice Upon A Time Scope.

He edited Arcbeatle Press' 2023 winter anthology The Book of the Snowstorm, in addition to contributing several stories and the framing narrative for it.

He illustrated the story The Jack Who Stole Christmas, by Cornelius Blanc, in charity anthology Twice Upon a Time Scope.
