Golf Alpha Charlie was the call sign for a Concorde which was used by the Fifth Doctor to investigate the disappearance of another Concorde, Golf Victor Foxtrot. Its crew included Captain Stapley, First Officer Andrew Bilton and Flight Engineer Roger Scobie. It followed the flight path of the missing plane and entered a time corridor which brought it 140 million years into the past. The crew of Concorde Golf Alpha Charlie later used parts from Golf Victor Foxtrot to make repairs and return to their own time. (TV: Time-Flight [+]Loading...["Time-Flight (TV story)"])

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

"Golf Alpha Charlie" is "G-AC" in the NATO phonetic alphabet, which is used for clear radio communication between aircraft pilots and air traffic control (ATC).
