The Doctor says in the episode that he lied about having a remote control to the TARDIS, but he used his sonic screwdriver to send Rose back to Earth in The Parting of the Ways? This has to be a discontinuity, unless range is a factor (as he was practically next to Rose in series 1). Can I get someone else's opinion on this? JAllen 18:34, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
- I think yes, that it essentially boils down to range, andto what was really being talked about in each situation. There's a big difference between using the sonic screwdriver from across the room to activate an emergency protocol (sending the TARDIS on a preset journey to a specific location), and having a remote control which would enable him to pilot the TARDIS from Earth while it's on an orbiting spaceship. That's my thought on it anyway. Spreee 03:02, 10 June 2009 (UTC)Spreee
The infobox pictures for this page and "The Sontaran Stratagem" have been mixed up. The pic with Donna working the TARDIS is from TSS, and the one of the Doctor on the phone is from this ep.The Nth Doctor 04:08, February 14, 2010 (UTC)
When the nuclear protocols are activated, The United Kingdom, France, India, Pakistan and North Korea are brought up in the Nuclear Grid. What happened to Russia, the United States, Israel and Iran? 67.180.85.146 21:13, August 15, 2010 (UTC)
