John Andrews was a member of the crew of the SS Bernice when it was removed from space and time and placed in a Miniscope which eventually came into Vorg's possession. along with the rest of the passengers and crew of the Bernice, was returned to Earth by the Doctor. He was defeated in a Boxing match with the Doctor. He was in a relationship with Claire Daly. The miniscope loop involved the pair constantly walking round the ship before a Drashig emerged causing Claire to scream and John to run for help. (DW: Carnival of Monsters)
