Vorg was a Lurman showman who came into possession of a Miniscope. He and his partner Shirna travelled to Inter Minor in hopes of promoting themselves and the Scope, but instead got caught up in Kalik's schemes. They got in trouble with the authorities for importing the creatures within the scope. When a group of Drashigs escaped the scope, Vorg used his prior military service experiance by killing them with an Eradicator. He then began repeatedly performing an old shell trick to con Pletrac out of his money. (DW: Carnival of Monsters)
Vorg had a son, Vorgenson, who he told stories of the Doctor. The New Paradigm Daleks planted an idea in Vorgenson's mind to create a device called the Minimiser, a similar device to Vorg's Miniscope. He used it to head a travelling show (funded by inheritance from a deceased Great-Uncle Thay who he'd never heard of previously) dedicated to The Doctor, so he could attract the Doctor to the show with his monsters, and capture him in the Minimiser. This plan worked, although later Vorgenson learned the truth and the plot was foiled.(SP: The Monsters Are Coming!)
