Joanna Lumley is a British actress, born (May 1st 1946) in India. She played The (Female) Thirteenth Doctor in the Comic Relief sketch: The Curse of Fatal Death in 1999. Outside of Doctor Who, she is perhaps best known for playing Patsy Stone in Absolutely Fabulous, Sapphire in sci-fi series Sapphire & Steel and Purdey in The New Avengers.
