Kara, assisted by Vogel, was the manager of food manufacturing factories, selling their food to developing planets, although the product was created by Davros. She planned to destroy Davros so that she would no longer have to give him money.
Hiring Orcini, a Knight of the Grand Order of Oberon, he and his squire, Bostock, set out to kill Davros. Before entering Tranquil Respose to look for him, they encountered a Dalek and destroyed it. This alerted Davros and fueled his suspision of Kara. He contacted her and told her that, suspecting that whoever wanted to kill him might want to kill her, he would feel better if she was protected by Daleks, having dispatched a squad to see them.
When the Daleks arrived, they exterminated Vogel and took Kara. Upon entering Davros' lair, she was asked about the transmitter given to Orcini. She dennied that she gave him the device, leading Davros to give the box to Orcini and asking him to do what he was supose to with it. Kara stopped him, revealing that it was a bomb.
Because of her betrayel, Orcini revealed a knife and stabbed her.
