Doctor Who Magazine (formerly Doctor Who Weekly, then Doctor Who Monthly) is now a four-weekly periodical that publishes Doctor Who news, reviews, articles and comic stories. Originally launched by Marvel UK Doctor Who Weekly, began publication in October 1979 before later being sold to Panini Publishing Ltd.

Doctor Who Magazine has been in continuous publication since its launch offering special editions each year in addition to its regular issues.

Doctor Who Magazine has also contributed, throughout its various regular and special issues, to the continuation of the Doctor's comic strip adventures, helping to make it the longest running ongoing comic strip related to a television series in the world.

A number of sister publications at various times have been published, with some ongoing features alternating between titles.

The TARDIS Index Files uses the prefix DWM to refer to fiction (in comic or prose form) printed in this publication.
