Slade was a band. One of their songs, entitled "Merry Xmas Everybody" was playing in a pub visited by the Eighth Doctor. (ST: Not in My Back Yard) In 2007, the song was playing at Donna Noble's first wedding reception. (DW: The Runaway Bride) It also was heard on the radio in an alternate version of Christmas 2007.
