From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Darius was a fifteen-year-old boy who was employed as Professor Gryffen's personal assistant by The Department and was also part of K9 Mark 2's alien-fighting team.

Biography

Darius was the son of police officer Harry Pike, who was often brought by his father to his place of work, a precinct which would later become Gryffen Manor. After the Department's CCPCs rendered human police obselete, Harry became obsessed with revenge, leaving Darius and his mother in order to focus on his goal. (K9TV: The Last Precinct) Darius was later employed by The Department to keep an eye on the Professor. This meant he was his personal assistant and tended to his car, Mariah. He later met criminals Starkey, and Jorjie after encountering ,K-9 and Jixen and informed the Police robots. He later went with K-9 to rescue Starkey, though he still didn't like him. (K9TV: Regeneration) He once almost destroyed London when he accidentally unleashed a swarm of alien nanobots. (K9TV: Black Hunger)

Like almost all of Britain's kids, Darius become a huge fan of the latest VR game, Little Green Men. This turned out to be more than it seemed as Darius, Jorjie with millions of other children, were almost turned into Etydions until June convinced the last Etydion to stop what he was doing. (K9TV: The Custodians)

Darius once again encountered his estranged father when he and his group, "The Last Precinct" attacked Gryffen Manor, using it as a staging ground for their plans to publically disgrace the CCPCs. Although Darius helped to derail those plans, leading to the arrest of The Last Precinct, he and his father were able to part on civil terms. (K9TV: The Last Precinct)

Soon after, Darius was approached by Thorne, who claimed that his father was suffering in prison, and offered to make his sentence more bearable in return for K-9's Regeneration circuit. Darius convinced K-9 to go along with it, only the group to double-crossed. (K9TV: Hound of the Korven)

When a strange phenomenon in the STM threatened Earth, Gryffen sent Darius to collect June. He met her in the Department Research Division and informed her of the situation. Shortly after, CCPCs in the area were given new orders that human personnel had no authority, when the duo confronted by two CCPCs, June saved Darius by grabbing a large gun and destroying the CCPCs. They then went through the base evading the CCPCs who were subdjugating all humans, they made their way to Gryffen Manor, arriving at the STM control panel, soon after, Gryffen, who went to the Millenium Dome, used the STM's voice activated termination code to destroy the Korven invasion force. Darius was able to pull June back just as the STM exploded, saving her life. After they regained concioussness, June thanked Darius for what he done. Darius insisted it was just what he does but June told him there was something more to him than that and if the Department survived, she could use someone like him in her ranks. Darius later recieved the sad news that K9 was about to die, before he died, a tearful Darius told him he was the coolest thing to ever happen in his life. K9 soon regenerated again into K9 Mark 3, Darius along with the rest of the team was delighted to see him back to life again. (K9TV: Eclipse of the Korven)

Personality

Darius was a hard worker, and loyal to the the professor, whom he saw as a father figure. Being an employee of The Department, he did not dislike and distrust them as much as Starkey and Jorjie, and would even willingly go to them for help on occasion. (K9TV: Jaws of Orthrus) He showed great care towards Gryffen, comforting him at bad times, (K9TV: Regeneration) and going off to rescue him when he was kidnapped. (K9TV: The Korven) He initially disliked Starkey, believing his troublemaking ways would only bring the Professor strife, however their relationship soon progressed and they became good friends. Darius and K9 sometimes argued, with the two often getting into verbal disagreements. (K9TV: Jaws of Orthrus) He had a crush on Jorjie (K9TV: Sirens of Ceres), and was heartbroken when she confessed to him that she had a crush on Starkey. (K9TV: Aeolian) He was very attached to Mariah, spending most of his free time polishing and working on her, and was quite angry when it appeared K-9 had damaged her. (K9TV: Jaws of Orthrus)

Darius was something of a pragmatist, abandoning his friends' plans when they seemed too outlandish or likely to fail, and seeking help elsewhere. He also had a habit of concocting get-rich-quick schemes, usually involving alien technology. (K9TV: Black Hunger)

Darius suffered from claustrophobia (K9TV: Fear Itself) and coulrophobia. (K9TV: Dream-Eaters)

His role in 'K9's gang' is similar to that of Clyde Langer in Sarah Jane's gang and Owen Harper in Torchwood Three.
