Discontinuity, Plot Holes, Errors
- Despite the fact that the torch will be runing down in a few minutes, there is no crowd or fences when Rose digs up the pod
- The fences and crowds also disappear very quickly after the drawings are brought back
- When drawing Tom, the tousers in the picture are of a different clour to the ones he is waring.
- Tom also disappears before the drawing is complete, but later the cat doesn't disapear till after the drawing is complete.
- Why did Cloe hide the pencils in her room. Did she expect to have the pencils take away from her?
- The logo for the olympics is the one used for the bid. The logo for the olympics was released after the episode (although it is possible that they used the one for the bid because the one for the games was so rediculous).
Continuity
- The Doctor mentions that he 'was a dad once' this could be a reference to his relationship with Susan (who first appeared in An Unearthly Child) or to Miranda his adopted daughter (Father Time).
- The Doctor uses his telepathy as he did in The Girl in the Fireplace.
