This article needs a big cleanup.

It's unclear what's wrong with the article, because the editor who placed this tag here didn't enumerate the page's problems.

These problems might be so great that the article's factual accuracy has been compromised. Talk about it here or check the revision history or Manual of Style for more information.

The Voting Booth was used by the citizens of the Starship UK to give their own views on the ship's history and situation. People over the age of sixteen were allowed to vote once every five years. The booth used some sort of technology to determine who a person was, and display records on date of birth and marriage status, when available. The computer would not allow non-human viewing, as demonstrated when the Doctor could not watch the video. He was however, still able to protest.

After viewing a video on the history of the ship, voters were given the choice to forget what they saw and go on living, or protest to the running of the ship. Those who chose to forget were allowed to record a short video to themselves. They then had around fifteen minutes of their memory removed, including all their knowledge of the video. If a person chose to protest, they were fed to the beast. (DW: The Beast Below)
