How to upload an image[[edit] | [edit source]]

To upload a photo, go the right hand side of the page and click 'add photo'. This will take you to the upload photo page.

Select your photo from wherever you have saved it and once it has uploaded, chnage the file name to what the picture is about. Make sure it's the destination file name and not the source! Once that is done, you may add a comment on what the photo is about, what it's for and where you got it from.

You must select a license before uploading! If you don't your picture may be deleted! To selected a license, click the drop down menu until you find the correct license. Once you have selected the license, click upload, and you'll be able to place you picture on a page.

How to place an image on a page[[edit] | [edit source]]

Once you have uploaded you file, it will come up it's page. To place it on another page, simply copy the file name and go to the page you want to place it on.

When you select the place you want to add it to, put two square brackets, followed by the word file and colon. Then paste your file name after the colon and put a |after it. Then type the word, thumb, followed by another |then the word left or right; depending on what side of the page you want it to go. (i.e [[file:imagename|thumb|left or right]])

Adding text[[edit] | [edit source]]

To add text, simply place an image on a page as you have just learned; but after choosing what side of the page to place it, place another |and type in you text, making sure you link where needed.
