Angelo Colasanto was a man who went to New York through Ellis Island in 1927. Once at Ellis Island, he tried to steal Jack Harkness' visa. Jack managed to catch him before he left, and he was locked up to be deported. Jack visited Angelo in his cell, and used his Time Agency wrist strap to change the name on his visa to Angelo's, stopping him from being deported back to Italy. Jack and Angelo then rented a room together, where the two had sex.
They then decided to make money by selling sacramental wine, as alcohol was illegal in America at the time due to prohibition. Almost immediately after they obtained the alcohol, however, they were kidnapped. Instead of being killed, however, Jack was able to convince their kidnappers to allow them to work for them, and were asked to move a box from one warehouse to another warehouse. Jack packed Angelo's bags for him and told him to run away. Angelo didn't want to leave Jack, so Jack decided to make him his companion. When they arrived at the warehouse, Jack opened the box despite the fact that they were ordered not to do so. Jack revealed that the contents of the box was a brain parasite that the Trickster's Brigade were planning to use on future President Roosevelt, and that Jack was on a mission from Torchwood to destroy it. Jack killed the parasite, and the two of them fled. Unfortunately, Jack was shot in the head and killed, and Angelo was arrested.
Angelo spent a year in prison, and when he left he was surprised to find that Jack was alive and waiting for him. Jack informed him that he had obtained the same room that they had had a year before, and invited him to come back with him. However, Angelo assumed that Jack must be the devil, and stabbed him. He was shocked when Jack came back to life again, and Jack was taken to a butcher's shop where a crowd of people repeatedly killed him. When the crowd left, Angelo freed Jack and planned to go with him. However, Jack no longer trusted Angelo after he had killed him, and jumped off of a building. Angelo was apparently still alive in 2011, and was somehow involved in the miracle. (TW: Immortal Sins)
