If he was ordered to 'kill' members of Torchwood then does that mean that his Boss (the Triangle People) didn't want to talk with anyone in Torchwood (like Jack, ie "Bring us Jack" TW: Immortal Sins)? There was a point where he typed 'remove' to Lyn which she interpreted as an order to 'assassinate' 'JH' ( TW: Rendition)... Did he have any idea how this could be accomplished (did he know Jack was mortal)? Or was he misinterpreting his own orders from the Triangle People (if they did want to talk to Jack)?Watcher4200 01:31, August 25, 2011 (UTC)
- Answering my own question (spoiler) - "The Triangle People" are identified in later episodes as a different organization than the one that wanted to "talk to Jack". They knew (or at least guessed) that Jack would be mortal, whether they would have told this information to Brian is unclear (probably not), and they did want Jack dead. Brian may have thought that ordering the assassination would be practically impossible, but then that's irrelevant because he's just a stooge anyway. --Watcher4200 17:09, September 12, 2011 (UTC)
