Singularity is the third audio story to feature Fifth Doctor and Vislor Turlough, released in 2005, four years since Mark Strickson had appeared in BFA: Loups-Garoux, it is the last story to feature only the Doctor played by Peter Davison and Turlough played by Mark Strickson together as of 2011. There have, however been subsequent stories featuring Nyssa, Tegan and Turlough together.

Notes

  • Unintentionally or not, Natalina Pushkin is also the name of the second in command of the Holoship in the Red Dwarf episode "Holoship"
  • The phrases "instrumentality of mankind" and "death and rebirth," as well as the goal of the Somnus Foundation, appear to be references to the animNeon Genesis Evangelion and the [[Wikipedia:Human Instrumentality Project|Human Instrumentality Project] from that series.
