Simon Callow (born 13th June 1949) played Charles Dickens in DW: The Unquiet Dead, voiced Tree Lorn Acre Slitheen-Blathereen in SJA: The Gift. He was also considered for the role of the Eighth Doctor in DW: Doctor Who (1996). It was recently confirmed that he is set to reprise his role as Charles Dickens in DW: The Wedding of River Song, the final episode of Series 6.
