"The Girl" was a name given in the end credits of a couple of stories. It was used as a deliberate attempt by the production crew to obscure the actual name of the character, and thus avoid spoiling the audience. The name, "The Girl", had no narrative presence; it was purely a contrivance for the end credits. Characters credited in this way included:
- Judith Winters, in the end credits of DW: Remembrance of the Daleks
- Charlotte Lux, in the end credits of both DW: Silence in the Library and Forest of the Dead
"Little Girl"
A few stories have also credited "Little Girl", but this name has only been used descriptively. That is, they name characters who are factually little girls, but who have no name in the narrative concerned.
