Cybus Industries was a company which existed on an alternate Earth. It was run by John Lumic and was used to create the Cybermen in that reality. (DW: Rise of the Cybermen / The Age of Steel). Cybus Industries also provided the main communications network in that reality, it would find devices automatically. Features of the service included the 'daily download' which downloaded news, sport, and other things straight into the customers head. Other features included internet access, although as this is only seen on Rose's phone it is uncertain how it works on the earpods. Cybus Industries also bought up other companies and helped their owners develop the business. Pete Tyler is working for Cybus Industries.
