In 2017, Lewis-Jones received training from Sgil Cymru to "step up" from her role as make-up trainee to finding her first junior positions in the make-up department. That year, she worked on her first 6-month drama from start to finish, Keeping Faith, under make-up designer Claire Pritchard-Jones.
