Kit Pedler (Dr Christopher Magnus Howard Pedler) (11 June 1927-27 May 1981[1]) was a medical scientist, science writer and science fiction writer. He was brought into Doctor Who in the mid-1960s by Innes Lloyd to bring some "hard science" into the show. He is the co-creator of the Cybermen with Gerry Davis.

According to the documentary Cybermen: The Early Years, he also co-wrote The Moonbase with Davis, but Davis was uncredited due to BBC policy at the time.
