Is there a policy on character pages? From what I've seen, if a character has a name, then they get a page. Doesn't matter if they have any lines (for TV), or what media the are in, or what role (if any) they have. If a character has a name, they get a page. Is that how it works? -- Rest In Peace Sarah Jane \ Talk to me! 13:34, April 26, 2011 (UTC)
- There isn't currently a specific policy, beyond the Tardis:Manual of Style, Tardis:Layout guide and the Tardis:Guide to writing Individuals articles.
- All in-universe individuals have articles, see Category:Individuals.
- Also in several cases individuals who do not have defined names also have articles, see Category:Individuals with unknown names. --Tangerineduel / talk 14:09, April 26, 2011 (UTC)
- All characters should have pages. Even if they don't have lines. We have some page that have Character X was... and its only a sentence or two. If we have any information about a character, we create a page. A good example of these are characters from books, especially the Virgin New Adventures, which have character pages that have one or two lines. Too me, not have a character page when we have a piece of information about, however small (bar the obvious X was a man, women, human etc), is like not creating a story page because 'nothing significant happened'.
