The primary important events during the 1690s were the Salem witch trials in 1692. The event was of such keen interest to the First Doctor he was there on four separate occasions — so often that he risked creating a temporal paradox.
On several of these occasions between 11 January and 29 July of 1692, he was there with his granddaughter Susan Foreman, Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright. (PROSE: The Witch Hunters)
The Seventh Doctor and Melanie Bush once visited Harrow Green in 1693. (PROSE: Pulling Strings)
