Agent Inventor was a 21 short story printed in TV Century 21 that contained elements from the Doctor Who universe.

Agent R. J. Landen of the Universal Secret Service writes in to Twenty One to show him a facsimile of "Dr. Who's time machine" that they have created, based on existing intelligence about the subject.

Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]
- The control console stands at five feet high and five feet across and is made of wood.
- Many of the switches and dials are made from old radio parts and the lights are torch bulbs with plastic tops over them.
- A motor inside causes the lights to flash on and off and makes the clocks move.
- Twenty One thinks that Landen's result is "a fine piece of work" and is sure that all other USS agents will be interested in the photograph they sent.
