The Tenth Doctor once borrowed a DVD of Schwarzenegger from Arnold Schwarzenegger's shop, Arnie's Videos. When the Doctor came to the shop to return it, Schwarzenegger told him that it was 200 years late, demanding a "small fine" of one million pounds, threatening to "terminate" him. The Doctor disappeared using time travel and returned with the money in a wallet.
Upon the Doctor's return, Schwarzenegger told him that he'd left 200 years ago, making him now 400 years late, now demanding four million pounds. An apologetic Doctor remarked that he really should be better with all this "time travel business". Schwarzenegger again threatened the Doctor, leading him to again disappear after telling him he needed to get to a cash machine. Schwarzenegger then reflected that the Doctor hadn't been late in the first place, and that he loved having fun with "those crazy Time Lords". Arnold Schwarzenegger was Governor of California from 2003 to 2011. The 2005 episode Bad Wolf [+]Loading...["Bad Wolf (TV story)"] implied that he later became President of the United States. However, Doctor Who: The Encyclopedia [+]Loading...["Doctor Who: The Encyclopedia (reference book)"] makes no connection between Arnold Schwarzenegger and "President Schwarzenegger", implying they are different individuals, possibly a future descendant. In the real world, Schwarzenegger would be ineligible to be US President as he was not a US citizen from birth.
