The Assault on Ruta III was a battle during the Last Great Time War. The Time Lords were manipulated into attacking the Rutans by the Sontarans using hybrids of themselves and Rutans in an attempt to achieve victory in their war. Unknown to the Sontarans, the hybrids’ existence was part of a larger temporal paradox which resulted in the integrity of Time being put in danger by the attack.
Aided by a Sontaran Skole, the War Doctor intervened in time to prevent the destruction of the Rutans and contain the hybrid paradox. (AUDIO: In Name Only [+]Loading...["In Name Only (audio story)"])
