Cass once described the Twelfth Doctor as doing "the Cabin in the Woods thing" rather than escaping from the Drum. (TV: Under the Lake)

Behind the scenes

It is unclear as to whether Cass was referring to the sub-genre of horror films as a whole, or one particular film which typifies it, simply called The Cabin in the Woods.
