A camp was a temporary housing, often, but not always, including tents. (COMIC: Emperor of the Daleks!) Mayor Me's Trap Street in London was a refugee camp for stranded extraterrestrials, (TV: Face the Raven) while the Daleks operated labour camps with atrocious living conditions for their humanoid slaves.
