Captain Noah Wilde was a soldier with UNIT in the 1970s.
Whilst on a night shift, Captain Wilde was informed by a radio technician of Dr Kurdi's claim that the Third Doctor had been killed at the Allingham Clinic. He took some soldiers to the clinic and briefly became a new human, after which he had the abandoned Bessie returned to the Doctor.
