Clodius was a Roman man who managed to sneak in to a festival of the Bona Dea, hosted by Pompeia. As men were not allowed to enter such a festival, a scandal arose which led to Julius Caesar divorcing Pompeia, on the grounds that it could not be proven that nothing happened between them at the party.
