In Earth-33⅓, Colin Baker played the Sixth Doctor in Doctor Who.
Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]
At the start of his tenure he was briefed by John Nathan-Turner on the fact that his portrayal would be an amalgamation of the first five Doctors. Nathan-Turner settled on Hartnell's irritability, Troughton's whimsicallity, Pertwee's dignity, Baker's insanity and finally Davison's stick of celery, a prospect that made Baker visibly uncomfortable. In 1984, also at the start of his tenure, Baker was told by Nathan-Turner that the good thing about his contract was that he was guaranteed an eighteen month holiday each season. He was replaced in the role by Sylvester McCoy in 1987. (COMIC: Ever Wondered What Happened At.. The Auditions For The Seven Doctors?)
