Dalek Wars (series)

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
RealWorld.png

The Dalek Wars short stories were one of the regular features of the magazine Doctor Who: Battles in Time.

Premise and format[[edit] | [edit source]]

Each instalment was an account of a famous conflicts in Dalek history, usually formatted as an extract or quotation from an in-universe character's diary or history book.

The stories were illustrated by highly detailed two-page spreads of the battlefield under scrutiny. These illustrations often doubled as activity pages, with readers being told to seek out specific elements in the vista, similar to a Where's Wally? game.

Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]

For an unknown reason, when depicting battles shown or referenced in the "Classic Series", the Dalek design used is the Time War Daleks introduced in 2005 instead of the correct classic Dalek types in the respective battles.
