Dalek ship (Death to the Daleks)

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

After a Dalek War, a Dalek flying saucer travelled to the planet Exxilon in search of parrinium. According to The Secret Lives of Monsters, the Exxilon Gambit was the final action of the Third Dalek War, (PROSE: The Secret Lives of Monsters) identified by the Time Lords as taking place in the late 27th century. (PROSE: Dalek Combat Training Manual)

Characteristics[[edit] | [edit source]]

According to the Dalek Combat Training Manual, this spacecraft was a single-storey design equipped for scientific research, containing power cells within. A sensor array was placed at the top of the saucer, which was flanked by secondary access panels. At the side was an articulated exit hatch hinged at the top. The ship could carry as many as five Daleks. (PROSE: Dalek Combat Training Manual)

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

The saucer's crew used modified silver Dalek drone casings with "multiphase" black sensor globes like the grey Daleks, designated by the Time Lords as the Type V Dalek. Their leader was distinguished by its amber luminosity dischargers. (TV: Death to the Daleks, PROSE: Dalek Combat Training Manual) All of its power was taken by the Exxilon City. When the power was restored, the ship took off. It was destroyed by Dan Galloway, who had stowed away on the ship with a Dalek bomb, which he detonated. (TV: Death to the Daleks)
