Dodge the Mantraps (game)

Dodge the Mantrap was the fifth game and twenty-second release exclusively published in Doctor Who The Official Annual 2025 on 5 September 2024 by Penguin Group and written by Paul Lang.

It is a dice and counter game in which one or more readers take on the role of a citizen of Finetime, and are tasked with making their way to the end of the grid without being devoured by a Mantrap.

This is the third source released within just two days which allows the viewer, problematically, to insert themselves into the narrative as a citizen of the all-white, deeply racist Finetime.

The viewer was previously invited to insert themselves into Finetime society one day prior with the release of GAME: Try Out Life in a Bubble! ^[+]Loading...["Try Out Life in a Bubble!
